Leah interns for the Smithsonian!

Congrats to Leah, who just finished up an 11-week long internship with the Smithsonian Science Education Center (SSEC) which is the only branch of the Smithsonian that focuses on formal K-12 education. In her role Leah developed a fifth grade physical science lesson, focused on properties of matter - and got to spend some time in Washington, D.C! Her materials will be a part of the Grade 5 Physical Science module and used in classrooms internationally.

We are excited to share that Johnny will be starting a new position this fall as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee!! Johnny has had an incredible impact on our group and we are sad to see him go; but excited for his career!
